Veo
Clubs run fundraisers to buy a Veo. You already own the camera.
This is a real thing that happens. Grassroots clubs sell sponsorships, run donation drives and accept memorial gifts to afford a Veo camera.
A Veo Cam 3 is $1,299. The Starter plan is $999 a year. Livestreaming is another $240 on top. That is $2,538 before a single whistle.
What that price looks like
Clubs post about it with thanks.
Not as complaints. As announcements, because affording one is an achievement worth celebrating.
The U11 team is working hard to raise funds for a Veo Camera system that will transform their game experience. Please donate, please share.
A kind donation in memory of Graham O'Callaghan has helped the club fund a new Veo Camera.
Who Veo is for
Clubs with a hardware budget and someone on staff to set it up. If that is your club, buy the camera. This page is for everyone else.
What you get instead

The grandparents are already on YouTube.
We publish to your channel and they tap a link. Veo’s own live links prompt new viewers to install the app and create an account first.
-
The scoreboard is in the file you keep.
Composited onto the local recording, not just the broadcast, so the game you save looks like the game you streamed.
-
Your footage stays yours.
Veo’s terms take a licence to your content that includes AI training, royalty free and sublicensable. Ours records to your phone. We never receive it.

Leaving is one tap.
Veo asks for a support ticket and a month of written notice, and their own support says a cancelled subscription “cannot be reactivated.” Stop paying us and the files on your phone are still there.

Eleven sports, not a soccer product.
Volleyball sets, baseball innings, pickleball serve rotation, football down and distance, hockey and lacrosse clocks.
