The real cost
Somebody is making money on your kid's game. It isn't you.
You bought the tripod. You haul the gear through the gravel lot. You stand there for two hours while everyone else watches the game.
Then the app charges your mother to watch what you made.
What each one costs
Two bills, not one.
Most comparisons show what the person filming pays. The second bill lands on the family watching, and that is the one nobody prints.

The ones worth reading about.
- GameChanger
Free to stream. Then they bill the grandparents and sell ads against your footage.
- The 50 subscriber wall
YouTube will not let your phone go live until you have 50 subscribers. There is a way around it.
- The split screen rig
Scoring in one app, streaming in another, both propped on the fence. There is a simpler version.
- sidelineHD
Free to stream, then $5.99 a month to see your own kid’s clips.
- Veo
Clubs run fundraisers to afford one. You already own the camera.
Who we built this for
The parent, coach or volunteer who already owns a phone and wants tonight's game on YouTube with a real scoreboard. No hardware. No account for grandparents. Nobody at home asked for a card.
If your club has a camera budget and staff to run it, the hardware further up that table is sold to you, not to us.
Free to start
Stream tonight's game. Nothing to buy.
Point the phone at the court and share a link. Every install starts with 14 days of Pro. After that it stays free forever.
Prices are the ones each company publishes, checked 2026-09-18.
